We are looking for Mechanical engineer at Pasir Gudang, Johor.

Minimum Requirements:
1.Holds a Degree/Masters in Mechanical Engineering or equivalent.

2.Has at least 5 years of working experience in similar industry in design, selection, installation, performance test and troubleshooting of Mechanical equipment.

3.Has worked in multiple projects of value RM10 million and higher as Lead mechanical engineer.

4.Prior experience in plant equipment troubleshooting and maintenance is desirable but not must.

5.Chartered Engineering Professional, IMechE or equivalent accreditation by local Board of Engineers or working towards obtaining an equivalent accreditation will be a plus

Desirable Skill / Knowledge

1.Engineering Design standards - Practioner level competency in use of relevant international engineering codes and standards such as API, ASME, ANSI etc. and relevant industry best practices.

2.Equipment design and selection – Practioner level in design and selection of Rotary and static equipment, such as; Pumps, agitators, compressors, mechanical seals, pressure vessels, bulk storage tanks, heat exchangers, chillers, steam boilers etc.

3.Piping design– Familiar with piping design. Aware of pipe stress analysis fundamentals

4.Project life cycle – Well versed with project life cycle and has practioner level competency in delivering mechanical and piping engineering deliverables

5.Project execution – Familiar with equipment inspection and test plan requirements including relevant standards. Practioner level competency in development and review of inspection and test plan for site construction activities such equipment installation, alignment checks, review of contractor job method statement and safety assessments.

6.Proficient in MS Word , Excel and MS Project.
