*Reducing Revenue Leakage in Sales:*
*Problem Overview:*
A B2B distribution company has six regional sales representatives managing customer leads and quotations. However, follow-ups are currently tracked across spreadsheets, email, and a basic CRM, making it difficult to ensure every quotation receives timely attention.
This has resulted in:
- 40% of quotations receiving no follow-up
- High-value sales opportunities being lost due to delayed or missed responses
- No clear ownership over outstanding quotations
- Management having limited visibility into stalled deals until it is too late
- Revenue leakage caused by inconsistent sales processes rather than a lack of leads
The company wants to improve its sales follow-up process without purchasing a new CRM system.
*Your Mission:*
Design a practical solution that reduces revenue leakage using the company's existing spreadsheet, email, and CRM tools.
Your solution should:
- Identify the root causes of missed quotation follow-ups
- Prioritise the highest-impact issues to solve first
- Define clear ownership and accountability for every quotation
- Create a workflow that ensures quotations are followed up on time
- Provide management with visibility into overdue or stalled quotations
- Recommend an escalation process to prevent valuable opportunities from being lost
- Deliver a realistic implementation plan that can be executed within the next three months
Your proposal should focus on improving processes and visibility rather than replacing existing systems.

*This is a business case, not a live client project*
*Every submission will receive a RM10 ZUS voucher.
